Hello and Welcome to my site. I am humbled that you have taken time to visit. So you want to know more about me huh! Well the first thing I want you to understand is that I have a sense of humor and love making people smile and laugh.
The second thing you must know is I like " keeping it real." Don't look back at my photos with wonder "Is this the same girl?" Yes it's me, and I want to speak freely and communicate with my peers and potention business partners.
I'm 18 years old. I was raised in Minneapolis by my two parents. We didn't have a lot, but we had love. My parents tried to provide a better life for my brother and me with limited education. They were born and raised in Guyana. This makes us twice removed.
A quick history lesson. Our people are called Guyanese because we are from the country Guyana. Our homeland is India, however the removal of my forefathers from India was part of what is called the Indian Dispora and our ancestors mixed with Africans who we share the same American history as human laborers. So that makes me an American with Indian and African cultures that you'd find in the Carribeans.
In Minneapolis I hung out with all kinds of people, blacks, whites, hispanics and other asians. I grew up in Urban America and felt the sting of poverty, the ghettos, the wrong crowds etc. I wanted better.
My childhood years to my early teens weren't happy years. I was raped by two uncles between the ages of 5 and 12 years. I was forge into rebellion and secrecy. I didn't think that I existed nor did I feel attractive. I grew up believing that all that was taken from me was lost. I tried to find a place in life. Every Sunday my family and I went to church (Hindu). Throughout history, poor people or the servants/slaves danced. This was a way to keep in shape and to build social morale. I embraced my cultured and danced traditional Guyanese and Indian dances.
I tried modeling in my early teens and wasn't very focused. I always wanted a mentor, but fate delayed my success for good reason, I had to live life a little more and gain experience. For years I was lost, but found my way through music. Hats off to Old School, Rap, Hip-Hop and Jazz. The point that I am making is that I didn't give up when it was thought that all was lost.
My African American auntie believed in me and helped me to re-shape my mindset by facing my fears. She took me out the environment where I once lived and provided me with a much better quality of life. I was receptive to her wisdom. Where I had once dropped out of high school in my senior having missed 9 mos. I found myself enrolled again....I was determined to make a success story out of my life. I was always a book smart student and I tested out of most of my classes and graduated on time. Now I'm on the right path for a career in modeling, television and film.
I presently am living with my African American Auntie who is managing and developing my career. I am living the American dream.
Currently being considered for the lead role in a major mega action film, "Maggie Fine."

and spending time with my family.
I will one day write a book about my life and hopefully see it come to fruition on the Silver Screen.
Entertainment Goals
I have goals which include becoming a spokesperson for abused children and role model. I would like to volunteer some of my time to special events such as fundraisers and auctions for child abuse and rape victims foundations.
I am looking forward to building my resume and experience in modeling, television and film.
A major importance of my goals is to be well prepared for each job that I take. So, my schedule is like the military. I'm learning all kinds of things about myself with each challenge and therefore building my inner-self.
